The University Rector offers thanks to the Minister of Higher Education for signing a contract for establishing the power station of Girls’ Colleges Compound at Zulfi.

H.E. the Rector Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al Moqren presented his thanks and appreciation to His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Anqari for signing some construction contracts of university academic  and service new projects in a number of regions and provinces at a total cost of SR 470,000,000. H.E. Rector Majmaah University mentioned that these projects included a contract for the construction of a power station for the Girls’ Colleges Compound which belongs to Majmaah University at Zulfi. This power station will be connected to the network through aerial cables to feed the colleges’ compound project. He added that this project is an important step to complete the colleges’ complex at Zulfi which is about to be completed. This complex includes Zulfi Province’s colleges and provides its services for more than 1700 students expected to double in the coming years, by God will.

This project, when it is ready to move there, will be considered a quantum leap for the great potentials prepared for it represented in laboratories, study halls, offices and modern equipment conforming to the highest standards in the field of in order to create an environment appropriate educational and work environment. on this occasion, the Rector, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Moqren conveyed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz and the Crown Prince, Naif bin Abdulaziz - may Allah protect them – for their generous support and patronage extended to the higher education sector and for the potentials, equipment, projects and buildings provided for Majmaah University which will contribute to its progress and advancement.
