As an extension to the university achievement in the field of invention, the university won the excellence shield for the best participation and a golden medal at Seoul International Invention Fair, held in Seoul, Korea. The university participated with a device for measure the percentage of cholesterol in blood via using NANO technology. The fair is regarded as the biggest one in Asia and it includes the participation of 34 countries. This achievement is attributed to the continues support of the His Excellency the Rector and the perseverance of the university staffs.
