Based on the directive of His Excellency the Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren, the college of science and humanities in Ghat participated in the 1st meeting concerned about vegetation. The meeting was attended by His Excellency the minister of agriculture, Eng. Waleed Abdelkareem Al-Khureiji and the governor of Ghat region, Mr. Abdullah Nasser Al-Sudeiry.
The university pavilion includes a number of educational brochures about environment and a documentary film. A memorial gift was presented to the minister of agriculture which expresses the university congratulation on the new appointment for his Excellency.
