His Excellency the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Saad Al-Muqrin issued a decision appointing Dr. Khaled Bin Abdullah Al-Shafi as Dean of the Faculty of Science and Humanities at Ghat. This is based on the approval of His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Head of the University Council, Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Angari. The Rector pointed out in the decision to Dr. Khalid’s scientific efficiency, administrative experience and understanding of things that is compatible with the public interest. Dr. Khalid Al-Shafi is considered one of the administrative competencies and academic excellence and have a proven track record and great biography.
He was the Head of the Law Department and member of the teaching staff at the Faculty of Administrative Sciences & Humanitarian of the university. He holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy -criminal policy specialty (Criminal Law) from Naif Arab University and an Master degree in criminal policy (criminal law) of the Naif Arab University and a BA from Imam Muhammad Bin Saud Islamic University.
Dr. Khaled worked several management & academic positions, , attended & participated in many conferences, seminars, workshops, panel discussions; he is also a member of several committees, a consultant for several parties, has a number of training sessions and a group of scientific & academic researches in addition to that he has experience in the field of teaching, training and management of dialogues, formulation and review of legal drafts of rules & regulations, legal rules and decisions. Dr. Al Shafi has several activities in community serving. Dr. Khalid expressed his thanks and appreciations to the Rector for the confidence granted to him wishing God to grant him success and to participate with the rest of his colleagues the responsibility and service this scientific edifice, and contribute to the progress of this university as required.
