His Excellency the University Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren met the first batch of non-Saudi scholarship students. In this meeting, the Rector discussed with the students about their first impression about Saudi Arabia and to what extent did the university employees exert efforts to facilitate the procedures of students. The Rector also encouraged the students to work hard and participate in all the university activities.
The University Rector also reviewed the report prepared by the Department of Scholarship about the procedures of registration.
Mr. Suleiman Al-Turaiqi, the director of the scholarship department, stated that the establishment of this department is based on the resolution of the Rector to be attached to the deanship of student affairs deanship. He added that (12) students were admitted from various Islamic countries. He finally extended his thanks to the Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs, Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumeih and the dean of student affairs deanship, Dr. Hamad Al-Gumeizi for their follow-up.
