His Excellency the Rector of al-Majma’ah University, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad al-Muqrin and a number of officials from the university including consultants, deans and directors visited the historical village of Awdat Sudair. His Excellency and his accompanyings were welcomed by His Excellency the head of Awadat Sudair center, Mr. Mohammad Bin Monwir al- Otaybi and a handful of people as well as the development group in Awdat. The program of the visit included a number of activities such as shops, purchasing and selling, ‘Katateeb’ where the guests spent a long time. They also took a round in the guest house and traditional museum where His Excellency and his accompanyings were listening to a detailed elaboration for the traditional committee in Awdat Sedair. After that, a special host was made in the traditional council where His Excellency the Rector expressed his gratitude for what he has watched of excellent works that aim to resurrect heritage. At the end of the visit, His Excellency extended his thanks and gratitude to the residents of Alawdah and development group for the wonderful hospitality. Finally, the delegation visited the cultural center in Awdat Sedair where they looked into its publications and residents’ services.
