The Deanship of Library Affairs organized a training program in “E-Database and Saudi Digital Library” which was conducted in cooperation with Saudi Digital Library for two days from 10-11 Rabia-2 1433 in Deanship of Library Affairs. Forty six of faculty members from all colleges and deanships in the university have participated in the course. The first day of the course focused primarily on the way of using the Saudi Digital Library, carrying out a search and making use of all its services. Moreover, there was a focus on giving the faculty members training on the way of using ‘Ask Zad Database’ Arabic Information Bank. On the second day, they received training on Educational and Medical Database MD consult, Eric. This training program is regarded as the third one to be conducted by the deanship at university-level as a part of continues efforts of information awareness program undertaken by the deanship.
