His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Sa’ad al-Mogren received in his office His Highness Dean of Scientific Research, Dr. Ibraheem bin Ali al-Leheydan and Directorates of Scientific Research, Directorate of Human and Administrative Science Research Center Dr. Mansour al-Doayhi, Directorate of Health and Basic Science Research Center, Dr. Mohammad al-Rukban and Directorate of Engineering and Applied Sciences Research Center, Dr. Tawfeeq al-Kanhal. The meeting was commenced by welcoming the attendance followed by a speech for His Highness the Rector where he emphasized on the significant role of scientific research in the strategic plan of the university as well as his unlimited support for all types of distinguished activities. His Highness also stressed on the necessity of scientific research activities to contribute in solving local community problems. His Highness concluded his speech by encouraging all to be loyal to their work and to have one team spirit in order to achieve outstanding results in the domain of scientific research. After that, His Highness listened to a brief report by the Dean of Scientific Research about the way of supporting scientific projects in 1432-1433 as well as the obstacles encountered by the Deanship and Research Centers. His Highness also promised to pave the way for the development of the center and to provide all required equipment, devices and programs, particularly after all university buildings were completed. His Highness concluded his speech by referring to the important role of the university in supporting all distinguished scientific projects and he requested from His Highness the Rector to make this meeting held on monthly basis.
