His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren launched the 1st meeting of Academic Department Heads and Supervisors in the University with the presence of His Excellency Vice Rector Dr. Ibraheem Bin Abduelrahman Al-Hugail, Their Excellences Deans and Academic Dep. Heads and Supervisors (Male and Female) in the auditorium of the University on last Sunday. The meeting was inititated by a recitation of the Holly Qur’an followed by a speech for His Excellency Dean of Quality and Skills Development Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Jarallah, where he welcomed the audiences and thanked everyone who contributed in making this event a successful one, on top is His Highness the Rector and His Excellency vice Rector. He also extended his thanks to all speakers and his colleagues in the Deanship of Quality and Skills Development as well as the University guest’s Prof. Faroog Khan. After that, His Excellency vice Rector Dr. Ibraheem Bin Abdulrahman Al-Hugail delivered a speech where he extended his thanks to His Highness to the Rector for his support as well as Deanship of Quality and Skills Development for their well organization. After that, His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren delivered a speech where he thanked everyone who contributed in preparing for this event as well as participants and he emphasized his concerns about developing academic performances in all University Departments to meet the strategic plan objectives. His Highness shed light on the University achievements and success due to Almighty God and all University staffs. His Highness also encouraged everyone to continue their efforts in achieving the objectives of the University. After that, His Highness distributed shields to all participants in this activity prior his departure. The first official meeting started where the issue of “How to Develop the Skills of Majmaah University Students” was discussed. The participants of this meeting were Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumeyh, Dean of Admission and Registration, Dr. Faisal Al-Homood, Dean of Student Affairs and Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Jarallah, Dean of Quality and Skills Development Deanship who chaired the meeting. Dr. Ahmed Al-Rumeyh, Dean of Admission and Registration delivered a speech where he mentioned the services provided by his Deanship like E-Registration and E-Guidance, on the other hand, Dean of Student Affairs mentioned about various students activities in the University, most important is the participation of students in the 3rd International Exhibition and Hayati Exhibition. In the 2nd meeting, Dr. Mahmood Tharwat Azmi from Deanship of Quality and Skills Development provided the Deanship vision in developing student skills and academic programs in the University. In a speech for Prof. Faroog Khan, University guest and expert, the issue of developing student skills in Majmaah University was touched upon. At the end of the meeting, a workshop and a discussion were conducted between Academic Department Heads which was run by His Excellency Dr. Khalid Bin Mohammad Al-Jarallah and Mr. Abdelrahaman Al-Rebayan in attempt to come up with efficient outcomes that will help in developing the University and its students.
