His Highness, the Rector Dr. Khalid Bin Sa’ad Al-Mogren launched the woman and kid activities, organized by Deanship of Student Affairs in the University with the presence of His Excellency the vice Rector, a number of Colleges and Deanships Deans and Heads of Government Departments and relevant sectors of the activities. The ceremony was initiated by a recitation of the Holly Qura’an followed by a speech for the executive committee’s chairman of woman and kid world, Ms. Sarah Al-Subeyh. The ceremony also included a video show about woman and kid world followed by a speech for the Deanship of Student Affairs Dr. Faisal Bin Abdullah Al-Homood who explained that these activities are part of the Deanship’s plans for this year; he stressed that the essential role of these activities is to activate the role of students. More than 120 students from different colleges have participated in the exhibition. The event revealed the positive role of women in family and society as well as taking care of kids through forming positive orientations for them. His Excellency extended his thanks to all cooperators in this running this activity. His Highness the Rector delivered a speech where he extended his appreciations to his Excellency Dean of Student Affairs and faculty members for their efforts in organizing such event in which an indispensable goal of the University is achieved which is serving the community in various like health, education and development. His Excellency also added that such kinds of activities are good ways for students to spend their spare times in useful things. Moreover, these activities are deeded as exploitation for the continues support received by the government of the Custodian of the Two Holly Mosques as well as the follow-up of His Highness Minister of Higher Education and his vice. After that, His Highness the Rector awarded participants with memorial shields. Then, His Highness the Rector and the audiences headed to the exhibition halls where His Highness the Rector inaugurated the exhibition events which included the conference hall, educational hall, markets, entertainment hall, theater, kids’ corner, training courses and games. More than 25 sectors participated in the exhibition like Al-Obeykan Bookstore, Rewayah, Jareer and kid world. A number of guests were invited like Dr. Ruqaiah Al-Muharib, Dr. Hessah Al-Hawwas, Bader Al-Bodoor and some trainers. The number of audience exceeded 1200 including kids and women who enjoyed the activities. Finally, the visitors expressed their satisfaction about the organization and the services provided during the activity.
