A DELEGATION OF THE UNIVERSITY PAYS A VISIT TO THE NATIONAL ASTRONOMICAL OBSERVATORY OF JAPAN (NAOJ)

An official delegation of the university paid a visit to the National Astronomical Observatory of Japan in Tokyo. The visit came as a result of the cooperation between the sectors and in compliance with the directive of the University Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren as well as the follow-up of the Vice-Rector, Prof. Mohammed Al-Shayae.
The delegation includes Dr. Tariq Al-Bahlal, Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi and Dr. Sa’ad Al-Fuleih. During the visit, a meeting was held to seek the means of cooperation and common interests. The visit also included a tour to a number of scientific centers attached to the astronomical observatory. The delegation also intends to pay a visit to Okayama Astrophysical Observatory followed by a visit to Hiroshima University.
