The University Rector, Dr. Khalid S. Al-Mugren launched the system of “Majmaah University in the second life” during the 6th higher education fair held in Riyadh. The launched was attended by the Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari and a number of the university officials.
Dr. Musallam provided a brief description about the system of Second Life and its multiple functions as well as the advantages that the university would gain via facilitating the services provided to students and society. “ the second life is capable of providing online lessons via virtual classes and computer labs”, Dr. Musallam added.
The Rector, Dr. Al-Mugren commended the deanship of e-learning and distance education for the system and its usefulness and attributed this achievement to the commitment and dedication of the university staff to contribute in substance and values to the development of the university.
