IN A UNIQUE STEP: THE UNIVERSITY TO QUALIFY FOR THE SECOND PHASE (AVAILABILITY PHASE) IN THE GOVERNMENT E-TRANSACTIONS

 

The university was qualified to the second phase in the program of transformation to Government e-transactions (Yuser), which is the (availability phase), where it passed the first phase of measurement, a (construction phase) with a distinguished result. that was stated in a speech delivered by His Highness the Minister of Communications and Information Technology, where he referred to the regulations of applying the government e-transactions and the need for each government sector to measure the extent of the shift to government e-transactions in accordance with mechanisms set by the program of government transactions "Yuser". The program has analyzed the reality through reports and field visits, and converting these results to a relative numerical measurements and data to determine the level of achievement. On this occasion, His Highness the RectorDr. Khalid Bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren thanked God for what was achieved for the university in the field of transformation to e-transactions, which is one of the objectives the university has focused on in the establishment phase and in accordance with the directives of the wise leadership of the need to shift to this area and to set specific regulations through the Council of Ministers Resolution No. 40 and No. 252 on supporting and strengthening the mechanism of the transition to the application of government e-transactions. His Highness also thanked the members of transformation to e-transactions program,"Yuser" who provided full support to the competent authority in the university. His Highness also noted the thanked efforts of employees of the Deanship of Information Technology, headed by His Excellency the Dean Dr.Omar Al-Mutaihi. His Highness also pointed out that the application of the second phase entails for a number of initiatives by the Deanship of Information Technology as well as all the colleges, deanship and departments to ensure full interaction in order to reach the desired objectives. His Highness expressed his optimism about the next phase in the field of electronic transactions.
