THE UNIVERSITY CELEBRATES THE OBTAINMENT OF ISO 9001:2008 CERTIFICATE IN QUALITY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM

A new great achievement was made by the university as a celebration was held for the obtainment of ISO 9001: 2008 in quality management system from the British Standards Institute (BSI).

On this occasion, an awarding ceremony was held to award all bodies who collaborate to make this achievement possible. ISO certificates granted from (BSI) were also distributed to university leaders.

The ceremony included a number speeches which began by Prof. Mohammed Al-Rukban, the Rector’s advisory and head of committee affiliated for qualifying the university for academic accreditation, who explained the importance of obtaining such a certificate and the impacts it would have on developing the management system at the university.

The head of ISO requirement committee, Mr. Tawfiq Al-Medeihim, has also delivered a speech on the history of obtaining the certificate from the very early stage of signing a deal with the a partner and including all other required procedures. All these efforts, Mr. Al-Medeihim added, are attributed to the university departments who played a great role in this achievement.  

 

The ceremony was concluded with the Rector’s speech who expressed his gratitude with this great achievement which is attributed to all committees which showed unfailing commitment to make this achievement possible. On top of which is Prof. Al-Rukban who deserves the lion’s share in this regard.
