His Highness the Rector Dr. Khaled Bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren attended with the presence of His Excellency the Governor of Zulfi Mr.Faihan Bin Abdulrahman Bin Labdah, His Excellency the Vice Rector Dr. Ibrahim Bin Abdul Rahman Al-Hugail, Deans of Colleges and Deanships and a number of university leaders the preparatory year ceremony of Medicine and Dentistry Colleges in the main stage of Colleges in Zulfi where the ceremony was initiated by a recitation of the Holly Qur'an by the student Suhaib Bader. after that, the students speech was delivered by the student Yasser Ahmed Khonaini where he thanked the Rector for his presence and mentioned about what has been made available to the students which contributed to creating a learning environment that helped students to improve their level of school.Then, a speech was delivered in English by the student Majid Ibrahim Al-Suheim on behalf of preparatory-year students of Medicine and Dentistry Colleges to demonstrated his fluency in the language.After that, the Dean of the Faculty of Education Dr. Abdullah Suwaiket delivered a welcoming speech where he welcomed the presence of the Rector and the Governor of Zulfi as well as the the Vice Rector and guests.Then he provided an overview of the colleges in Zulfi in which he mentioned about its potentials in the academic and administrative area. He then appreciated the Rector directions to move instantly to the colleges and to create all the possibilities that will help the transition to the new building. After that, His Excellency the Dean of Faculty of Science who is also the supervisor of the School of Dentistry and the supervisor of the preparatory year program for the faculties of medicine and dentistry professor Dr. Mansour Al-Mansour pointed to the words of the Rector during the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry, which mention that success and achievements are not achieved by the possibilities and equipment but through the determination of loyal men and dedication. After that, a video presentation was given about the preparatory year of Medicine and Dentistry Colleges which showed the stages of development, programs and curricula as well as its success and progress which was reflected on the level of students. Then His Highness the Rector inaugurated the curriculum of College of Dentistry and its presentation which focused on the witness of a number of experts and professionals in the curricula of faculties of dentistry in the world who have participated in the process of drafting the curriculum or have reviewed it where they praised the curriculum of the University.Addressing the audience, His Highness the Rector gave a speech where he welcomed the audience and praised what he saw in the ceremony of documenting the work of colleges and explained that what he saw in the colleges of the province of Zulfi is a distinctive and great work. He also said: We have run the risk by establishing the College of Medicine in Majma'ah and Dentistry in Zulfi, and indeed it was such a dangerous adventure as we were busy setting up the technical infrastructure, administrative and technical and one more thing is such kind of colleges are highly sensitive in nature and their outputs must be systematically studied and with high quality. However, due to the grace of God then the determination of loyal men, all achievements have been made. He advised his students to make use of what have been provided to them. After that, outstanding students and a number of members of the establishment of the Faculty of Dentistry as well as faculty members and College curriculum designer were awarded followed by an awarding for the Rector and His Vice.Finally, the event was concluded by a photo shooting session.
