No one was surprised with the selection of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz for His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz as a Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Ministers, in addition to his duties as Minister of Defense.
This man can be simply described as the famous saying (the right man in the right place). This wise choice is the choice of a lover to his country and his people. His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz is not an ordinary personality that can described in few lines, instead Prince Salman is a unique personality and a symbol that has attributes that cannot be listed here in few lines.
The period of His Royal Highness Prince Salman ruling for Riyadh region was in itself a school of governance and management. He realized the great responsibility, so he dedicated his life in serving his religion, country and people. Any observer for the activities of the Ministry of Defense since his appointment would notice the mettle of this man who put in his mind the security of the homeland and its citizens as a first priority.
Whoever has the privilege of meeting the Prince or talking to him would come up with the same conclusion that he is a person with prestige yet he is very humble. Besides, he is well educated man and a good listener to his interlocutors even if he did not come up with new things. The fascination with a character such as Prince Salman is the common denominator among those who had the privilege to meet him.
We at the university love this Prince and appreciate him as he was always supportive of the University at all levels. A delegation from the University headed by the Rector Dr. Khalid bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren met with His Highness and to talk to him. Upon the establishment of the Institute for Studies and Advisory Services of Al-Majmaah University, which provides research and advisory services to public and private sectors, we were eager get the endorsement of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz of name the Institute with his name. Thus, the University requested from His Highness and as usual he approved it.
It was indeed a great honor for us at the university to have that status. Thus, we at Prince Salman Institute for Studies and Advisory Services at the University seek with all our strength to live up to the level of this honor.
