With the attendance of His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khalid Bin Sa'ad Al-Mogren, His Excellency the University Vice-Rector, the Rector's Advisers, Deans of Colleges and Supported Deanships and University Staff including faculty member and administrators, the Public Relations and University Media Department organized the Annual Eid Celebration for the University staff in conjunction with Eid Alfitr in the main lobby of the university campus. Congratulations were given to His Highness the Rector on this occasion in a friendly atmosphere where everyone expressed his joys on this happy occasion. His Highness the Rector delivered a speech initiated by thanking the Almighty God for blessing everyone to complete fasting the month of Ramadan wishing that Allah may accept all our righteous acts.
He also congratulated the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz and Crown Prince Secretary of His Royal Highness Prince Salman Bin Abdul Aziz, the royal family and all university staff on the occasion of Eid Alfitr reminding that this is the third Eid that passes on the university with a number of accomplishments and successes that worth celebrating and encourage everyone to make more effort. His Highness also provided a number of guidance and important messages on the occasion of the beginning of the new academic year, stressing the necessity of commitment to the values and principles of the university with sincerity and dedication, solidarity and cooperation among all university staff to proceed with the achievements particularly with the considerable support that the University receives by the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, may God protect him, and the follow-up of His Highness the Minister of Higher Education and His Deputy.
His Excellency the Vice President, Dr. Ibrahim bin Abdulrahman Al-Hugail delivered a speech in which he congratulated the Rector and all employees of the university on the occasion of Eid al-Fitr and praised what has been achieved for the University of the achievements and successes during the three first years since the establishment of the university, which is due to the back of the Rector and the loyal employees.
He Excellency Dr. Musallam bin Mohammed Al Dosari, Dean of E-Learning and Distance Education and the supervisor of the Office of His Highness the Rector also spoke in which he congratulated everyone on the occasion of Eid and praised such meetings that foster a spirit of togetherness among employees of the university.He attributed the reasons of the university success to the cooperation among all university staff.
Finally, a poem was presented by Mr.Nasser Al-Hanno from Student Affairs Deanship that impressed everyone as it included congratulations the wise leadership of and His Highness the Rector as well as the achievements of the University. The Celebration was presented by Mr. Mohammed bin Hamad Al-Eid from the Public Relations Department. Desserts and drinks were served in conjunction with this occasion in a friendly atmosphere.
