As part of student activities in Engineering College for the academic year 1433-1434 H, His Excellency the Dean of Engineering College, Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah patronized the annual meeting with faculty members and students at Engineering College organized by Student Activity Committee at the auditorium of the main campus. The meeting was initiated by a beautiful recitation followed by a speech delivered the Dean of the college where he welcomed faculty members and students and greeted them with the new academic year wishing them success in this year. He also extended his thanks to the Rector for his constant support. Addressing faculty members and students, he encouraged them to pursue their perseverance and hardworking and to abide by the rules and regulations of the University as they were set to facilitate the academic journey of students. He stated that the achievement of the college relies on both parties (faculty members and students) and should any of them fall short in achieving their goal, surely the other would be affected negatively. He added students are involved in making decision in the college through constant meetings to listen to students’ comments. After that, He listened attentively to students’ inquiries with regard to certain issues including such as rules and regulations of curriculum plan and exams. The Dean finally gave good news to students as new majors in the department are found that will enable students to select their suitable major in which they are able to be innovative. His Excellency the Dean concluded his speech by extending his thanks to everyone who contributed in making this even a successful event.
