Under the patronage of His Highness the Minister of Higher Education, Dr. Khalid Al-Angari, a conference will be held during the period from 4-5/1/1434 at the university campus titled “Scientific Majors in Newly Established Universities; challenges and solutions”. The conference focuses primarily on the challenges and difficulties faced by scientific majors in newly established universities via setting optimum programs that will meet the need of market based on constant constructive discussion among academics and practitioners to come up with alternatives in achieving sustainable development. The conference also aims at reviewing most recent researches in the academic fields (Health, Engineering..) as well as establishing the concept of research teams and academic cooperation among researches. The conference also intends to establish a partnership between newly established universities and public and private sectors as well as with major universities in developing the strategies of learning and training. The scientific committee is still receiving papers in the above mentioned fields. The conference targets faculty members, students, specialists, leaders, workers in all ministers (Higher Education and Health particularly) vocational education, civil service, commerce, industry etc. A number of workshops will be conducted in the field of scientific majors. A website was designed for the conference via cooperation with Media Department and IT Deanship where all the details will be available in the site.
