VICE-RECTORSHIP FOR GRADUATE STUDIES HOLDS A FORUM OF RESEARCH

A forum was held by Vice-Rectorship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research (VGSS) under the patronage of the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and the presence of Director of Education in Majmaah, Dr. Saleh Al-Rabia along with deans, directors and many affiliates of scientific research.

The forum focused on supporting innovative invention and scientific research for students and faculty members in all fields. A number of agents have participated in the forum such as Dar-Almandumah, National Center for Youth Studies and Asila Company who also signed an agreement with the university in the field of research. Saudi Jurisprudential Association was also launched along with Tibyan Association for Qur’an.

A documentary film was screened titled “ A Successful Experience” which highlighted the major achievements of the (VGSS) and all attached units. All statistics which signify the success of the university to be pioneered in research field were shown.

Vice-Rector for Graduate Research, Prof. Al-Shaya’a said that the number of published researches has increased significantly since the establishment of the university from six researches on the first year to be more than 240 papers in various fields, added by Dr. Al-Shaya’a. with regard to the employment of Saudi faculty members, the number has also increased dramatically to reach more than 150 member.

The forum was concluded by a speech for the Rector Dr. Al-Mugren followed by awarding winners of innovative research and inventions. Dr. Al-Mugren expressed his gratitude with this event which he attributed to the Government of King Salman Bin Abdul Aziz’s support and future vision pertinent to education.
