THE UNIVERSITY HOSTS THE 10TH SEMINAR FOR E-LEARNING IN SAUDI UNIVERSITIES

 

The University concluded its preparation for hosting 10TH seminar for e-learning in Saudi universities which hosted by the University represented in the Deanship of E-learning and Distance Education hosts the 10th panel discussion of e-learning in Saudi universities titled “ E-learning in newly established universities; issues and aspirations”. This panel of discussion is conducted at the university level in Saudi Arabia and in cooperation with the National Center for E-learning and Distance Education. The Panel of discussion which will be held on Sunday, 25/1/1434 H preceded by a workshop on Saturday 24/1/1434H, aims at enrich the education and awareness of e-learning in the university, said His Excellency the Dean of e-learning and distance education, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari who called upon all those interested in participating in the workshop or discussion panels to contact the Deanship via the e-mail of the Deanship : [email protected] or via the phone number 404160506. It is noted that in respond to the directives of His Highness the Rector, current preparations are done by the Deanship of e-learning and distance education and the department of public relations and university media in cooperation with the National Center of E-learning and Distance Education in the Ministry of Higher Education.  The Head of the Center Dr. Abdullah Al-Mogren stated that the seminar session is conducted at the Kingdom level to promote the culture of e-learning as well as gaining insights from experts on this issue from all sectors. He also added that the topics of the seminar are e-learning in newly established universities, future vision and theoretical frame for e-learning and its impact on the educational process, the goals of organizing distance learning and the major issues of activating e-learning system. He finally extended his thanks to the Minister of Higher Education for his approval of conducting the seminar as well as the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren and all the university staff for hosting this seminar.
