The University is preparing for the upcoming gathering of distinguished experiences for Saudi charitable organizations held next week. His Highness the Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren inaugurated in his office the first meeting of working committee and extended his appreciation to the Community Service Deanship for its initiative and encouraged all committees’ heads to work hard in order to achieve the goals of the gathering. His Excellency the Dean of Community Service Dr. Omar Al-Sharuofi stated that this gathering comes out of the awareness of the Deanship of Community Service and Continues Education about its role towards the society and to provide solutions and opportunities against the obstacles encountered by the society. The gathering titled “Towards a distinguished charitable work”. Charitable work witness these days a dramatic development in all it projects and programs which resulted in a gap between charitable organizations and the inquiries about the reasons behind the excellence of the charitable organizations outcomes. He also added that the gathering tends to achieve several goals among which supporting and promoting charitable work culture among society, discussing the role of charitable work from all respected parties, shedding the light on media role against charitable work and exchanging experience with charitable organizations and making use of their latest success and experience. He mentioned that the topics of the gathering among which is the distinguished administrative approaches for charitable programs and projects based on systemic and scientific frame, employing e-technology in charitable work, incorporating a wide range of the society segment, professional ways in marketing charitable work via creative ideas and constant enhancement of the organization’s programs based on continues assessment. Finally, He expressed his thanks to the Rector for his patronage, support and directives to facilitate the work of the committee.
