During a press conference held in the Rector’s office, His Highness highlighted the most important endorsed projects for this year. Addressing the audience, His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren expressed his content with the issue of the new general budget of the country for the year 1434/1435. His Highness also extended his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz and His Crown Prince Salam Bin Abdel Aziz for what has been allocated for Majmaah University from the general budget which reached ( 949,406,000) with an increase reached (456,323,000) more than last year. This budget which is (92.54 %) more than the previous one, is regarded as the hugest in the history of Majmaah University. His Highness noted that such huge figure is deemed as an appreciation from the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques for the efforts exerted in Majmaah University which resulted in unprecedented achievements throughout the last three years to meet the needs of the residents of the nearby provinces and towns in terms of knowledge.
