MU OBTAINS A PATENT FROM KING ABDUL AZIZ CITY FOR SCIENCE AND TECHNOLOGY

Mr. Turki Al-Mutairi, MU student at College of Applied Medical Sciences, has obtained a patent from King Abdulaziz City for Sciences and Technology (KACST) for inventing a (negative pressure injection). This achievement came through a support from the Vice-Rectorship for Graduate Studies and Scientific Research.

The invention is made of a cup that has two holes (vertical and horizontal). The cup is connected to a suction device and injection then placed on the skin. The primary function of the invention is to eliminate the negative pressure associated with the injection when it is given to a patient.

 

The invention of Mr. Al-Mutairi has received several local and international awards such as IENA exhibition in Germany.
