THE FIRST MEETING OF ENGINEERING COLLEGE

The Dean of Engineering College Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah, patronized the activities of the first meeting for the academic year 1433-1434 of the faculty members and administrators for the engineering college. The meeting was organized by the social committee of the college. The meeting was begun with a recitation of the Holy Quran followed by a welcoming speech to all audience by the moderator of the meeting Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Qawasmi. Dr. Al-Qwasmi congratulated all two departments of the college; computer engineering and network and civil engineering for obtaining the second and third position in the competition of most readiness programs for academic accreditation. Head of departments gave a speech in conjunction with this event in which they attributed this achievement to the collaborative efforts exerted by all members of the department. Dean of the college, Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah delivered a speech where he welcomed all faculty members and staff and congratulated them the achievement. He also mentioned that the college shall always provide the necessary support for such achievements. After that, awarding prizes were distributed to faculty members in mechanical engineering. Addressing the audience, the dean mentioned the college has many strategic plans which will improve the performance of the college and gain more success. These plans need sincere men. Following the speech, the floor was opened for inquiries and suggestions related to the staff and students. Dr. Al-Kanhal extended his thanks to the college and its dean for their efforts to train the staff.
