THE UNIVERSITY PARTICIPATES IN THE GRADUATION CEREMONY FRO SCHOLARS OF THE CUSTODIAN OF THE TWO HOLY MOSQUES SCHOLARSHIPS PROGRAM, THE PROCEDURE OF THE LOCAL SCHOLARSHIPS IN CANADA AND CAREER DAY

 

 


In reference to the guidance of his Excellency, the Rector of the university, Dr. Khalid bin Saad Al Muqrin, a delegation from the university participated in the graduation ceremony for scholars of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Scholarships program , the procedure of the local scholarships in Canada and Career Day, which  is hosted by the Cultural Attaché in Canada, where Canada is now one of the largest external scholarship countries. The main objective, of the university's participation, is centered on two pillars , the first one is representing the university and introducing the achievements of the university and what has the university done of qualitative and quantitative leap  in the  scientific, academic and administrative fields, and the second one is  to attract the scientific competences, recent graduates or senior students via  "Attracting Program", where the number of graduates was approximately (1200 ) male and female students of different scientific disciplines and academic degrees. The team arranged the early preparation and coordination  to represent the university, where the university participated as a silver sponsor,  the university pavilion got the impression of organizers and the visiting parties in terms of output, design, and gifts  as well as the interaction of the delegates in introducing the university, meeting the visitors, and welcoming the representatives of the participating Canadian universities. His Excellency, Mr. Yousef Bin Rashad Abuaich, Chargé d'Affaires, Embassy of Saudi Arabia in Ottawa, and Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Al Beshri, Cultural Attache, visited the university pavilion and listened to the introduction about the university, its activities and aspirations to take advantage of the newly distinctive graduate cadres, where a memorial shield was presented on the occasion of his visit. The university was represented in this forum by Dr. Hamad Bin Ibrahim Al Omran, Supervisor of Computer Sciences and Information  College, Dr. Mohamed Bin Fahad Al Salamah, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Dr. Mohammed bin Othman Al Rukban, Dean of the Faculty of Medicine, and Mr. Thamer bin Ali Al Dghaishi .
