The University held a celebration on the occasion of passing three years since the establishment as well as launching a number of projects at the auditorium of the main campus. The celebration was attended by His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren, the vice-rector for research and postgraduate studies and academic studies Dr. Khalid Al-Shaya’a, deans of colleges and supported deanships, deputy of majmah province Mr. Mohammad Al-Kharsan, heads of centers, heads of governmental sectors and a number of guests. The celebration begun by a welcome operetta followed by a speech for the head of project management Mr. Abdullah Al-Sa’ab where he shed a light on some of the university ongoing projects such as college of science and applied medicine, university management, faculty members’ residential apartments, electrical power in Majmaah and Zulfi, supported deanships in Zulfi, college of science and humanitarian studies in Ghat and other projects. After that, a documentary film was shown about the achievements of the university over the last three years as well as the administrative and academic developments . addressing the audience, the Rector delivered a speech where he extended his thanks to all audience for their presence and interaction with all events. He stated that the achievements of the university is all due to Allah then the support of the government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the efforts exerted by all the university employees who were able to coherently strive to achieve one goals which is serving this nation. Finally, His Highness The Rector awarded some cooperative sectors followed by cutting the ribbon of the pictorial exhibition of the university three years achievements.
