A ceremony, to launch the design of Majmaah University (MU) hospital, was held on Wednesday in the presence of MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, Vice-Rector, Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari, Advisor to MU Rector, Dr. Mohammed Al-Rukban and Dr. Jaber Al-Swat CEO of Saud Consult. Dr. Al-Rukban commenced the ceremony with a speech where he made a reference to the efforts exerted by the University since its establishment and over the last eight years locally which resulted in major achievements locally, regionally and internationally. The university hospital, added Dr. Al-Rukban, is a real embodiment of success path that the University is taking with regard to health development. On the primary purpose of establishing the University, Dr. Al-Rukban said the hospital is expected to offer medical services in the region to elevate its quality, enrich the education of medicine at colleges and contribute in scientific research. Dr. Al-Rukban concluded his speech by extending appreciations to MU Rector and all members of the University who showed unwavering commitment to bring this project to reality. Thanks were also expressed to Saud Consult for their service, particularly the innovative design of the hospital. Dr. Al-Swat CEO of Saud Consult, then gave a speech in which he expressed his gratitude to cooperate with MU in designing the hospital which is expected to be a turning point in the history of MU in providing health service to citizens. The design of the hospital, explained Dr. Al-Swat, is based on state-of-the-art criteria globally to create an environment conducive for education and therapy. The MU Rector then launched the new design of the hospital which will consist of 400 beds, 3 towers, main building for outpatient clinic, academic building for students, visitor entrance, emergency, and more than 100 parking lots. Concluding the ceremony, the Rector delivered a speech where he extended his gratitude with this unprecedented achievement in the history of the University.
