Deanship of Libraries Affairs, in co-operation with Saudi Digital Library and Arabian Advanced System Company, held a training course on using the two databases IEEE , AskZad in the training hall in Deanship of Community Service, University City. The course was held on Sunday 19/5/1434 corresponding 31/3/2013. Dr. Usamah Khamees introduced the presenters of this course and extended thanks to the attendees of students and employees. Then he spoke about the importance of utilizing electronic databases as they are filled with the latest information and are always available in different forms. After that, there was a presentation on how to access and register in Saudi Digital Library. Also, the presentation covered an introduction about Saudi Digital Library and how to conduct a unified search in it. However, the primary part of the course was presented by Dr. Mohammad Mustafa, the trainer from Arabian Advanced Systems Company, where he spoke about searching, browsing and dealing with the results of these two databases. There was a big number of attendees and students; (19) trainees of university employees.
