The Deanship of Students’ Affairs at MU has hosted Sheikh Saleh bin Humaid, Adviser to Royal Court and Imam of Ground Mosque. Dr. Bin Humaid was welcomed by MU Rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren and all vice-rectors and deans. Dr. Bin Humaid delivered a lecture titled ( Youths and Future Perspectives) at the auditorium of main campus. Dr. Bin Humaid talked about the major characteristics of youth phase and how it is important in human life. He also explained the difference between ‘ambition’ and ‘hope’, ‘planning’ and ‘wishing’. He also talked about unemployment and the dire need for youths to consider the idea of working in any field. concluding his speech, he said “ view yourself as a successful person, listen carefully to your inner voice and avoid frustrating statements.” Following the lecture, Dr. Bin Humaid was escorted in a tour to the labs and facilities of the University, and was presented a device for measuring the rate of cholesterol in blood, which is one of the university achievements that received a patent.
