A delegation of the Vice-Rectorship for Academic Affairs headed by His Excellency the Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Prof. Mohmmad Al-Rukban paid a visit to the engineering college. Dr. Al-Rukban has initiated his visit by meeting His Excellency the Dean of Engineering College Dr. Mohammad Al-Salamah and heads of departments. The Dean welcomed the delegation and explicated the approaches of the college followed by a discussion of the achievements as well as obstacles faced by the college. During the meeting, Dr. Al-Rukban met a number of academic departments heads, faculty members and students who expressed some of the obstacles faced by them at the academic level. The delegation also met the committee of curriculum where a discussion was made about the current situation as well as the future plans with regard to the curriculum of the college. Dr. Abdelrahman Al-Qwasmi, head of quality center and Dr. Tariq Nabeel, head of exam committee had a discussion with the delegation with regard to exams and all related issues. Dr. Saed Awni, head of academic advisor explained to the delegation the important role of the academic advising in assisting students to boost their levels. The delegation ended its tour by visiting several places at the college.
