COLLEGE OF COMPUTER SCIENCE WINS MIDDLE EAST EXCELLENCE AWARDS IN SMART LEARNING

The College of Computer Science at MU has won the 22nd  Middle East Smart Government and Smart Cities Excellence Awards. The award is offered by the Middle East Excellence Awards Institute to government and educational organizations in GGC and Middle East. The College of Computer Science lead by the Dean Dr. Hisham Al-Saqeer managed to offer an interactive comprehensive smart educational content of international standards.  Dr. Al-Saqeer received the award in the ceremony held simultaneously with the 23rd  GCC Smart Government and Smart Cities Conference in Dubai, UAE, 2017.  Dr. Alsaqeer attributed this milestone to the support of MU Rector Dr.Khalid Al-Mugren and Vice-Rector Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari who paved the way for this success. On the nomination of the college for the award, Dr. Al-Saqeer said having the e-classes and international exam centers along with augmenting the study plans with e-learning technologies have qualified the university to compete for this award.
