The Astronomical Observatory at MU has issued a report explaining the status of Ramadan crescent for the year 1438. The report stated that following the astronomical calculations of Saudair’s latitude and longitude on Thursday 29th Shaba’an, 1438 according to Um alqura calender, it shows that the moon will sunset at around 6:17 pm 288 degree north-west.The report also indicated that the weather condition will be fine with light sandstorm.
