CRESCENT OBSERVATION REPORT

The University Astronomical Observatory in Hawtat Sudair issued a report on the conditions of Shawwal crescent observation for the year 1438.  The report stated that after the completion of the astronomical calculations of the longitude and width of the city of Houtat Sudair as the place of observation on Saturday, 29 Ramadan according to Om Al-Qura calendar, the observational data of the Observatory indicate that the crescent will be at 289 degrees northwest at 07:12 pm after the central coupling occurs at 5:31 am on Saturday morning, as the sun sets on the same day at 6:50 pm at 294 degrees north West Based on these data, the sunset will be about 20 minutes after sunset at the sighting site in the city of Houtat Sudair. It is expected that the weather will be generally warm, with a maximum temperature of 44 ° C and wind at a speed of Almost 13 km / h.
