His Highness the Rector the Minister of Higher Education Dr. Khalid Al-Angari received at the Office of Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren accompanied by a number of students who won the golden and bronze medals at 41st Geneva International Exhibition of Invention at Switzerland. The exhibition was held between the period 11th to 14th April, 2013. The university won the golden medal for the device of measurement of hemoglobin in blood without taking a sample. The University also won the golden medal for the device of limb balance rehabilitation. The University won the bronze medal for the invention which is called “ wonder Compressor”. This invention is based on using the mechanical engineering specialized in engine to reduce the cases of robing car wheels. Another bronze medal was won by the student for the invention called “ Special Cooling System”.
His Highness the Minister of Higher Education complimented the efforts being exerted by students which resulted in the current outstanding achievements and encouraged them to keep on the same track. Prof. Al-Angari also congratulated His Highness the Rector for the achievement. Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren extended his thanks to Prof. Al-Angari for his meeting with students and regarded that as a great encouragement for students to success in their upcoming future.
