MINISTRY OF EDUCATION APPROVES MU ‘SPECIAL NEEDS POLICY’

MU Special Needs Policy was endorsed by the university board in its 6th session following the approval of ministry of education to the policy. Dr. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice-Rector and Director Social Responsibility Observatory, expressed his gratitude for the approval of the policy which incorporated the Saudi Arabia’s vision 2030 and hoped it would mark a milestone in the university’s tendency towards special needs comparing with Saudi universities. The formulation of  the policy rests on a developmental vision and the best practices in dealing with special needs were employed following international standards, said Dr. Al-Dosari, noting that significant strides were also made in support of this group including all rules and regulations governing their safety and helping them to take part in all activities inside and outside the university.
