A ROYAL ORDER TO EXTEND THE ASSIGNMENT OF DR.AL-MUGREN AS MU RECTOR BY 4 YEARS AT THE RANK OF EXCELLENCE

A Royal order was issued to extend MU rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren’s term by 4 years, starting from 30/12/1438. 
Dr. Al-Mugren, who has been the rector of MU over the last eight years has demonstrated extraordinary skills in leading the university to make headlines in various fields. 
Under Dr. Al-Mugren’s leadership, MU has managed to overcome all the obstacles that newly established universities normally encounter, and several remarkable achievements were seen during his tenure. 
Dr. Al-Mugren has extended his thanks to the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud and Prince Mohammad bin Salman,  the Crown Prince and Deputy Prime Minister and minister of defense, for the extension and hoped to exceed their expectations by contributing in more success in the future. 
Among Dr. Al-Mugren’s accomplishments, concerted efforts were also made to ensure that MU was established on basis similar to those found in world-leading universities, a prerequisite step to meet the needs of people living in the geographical areas of the university. 
Speaking of the university budget, Dr. Al-Mugren has attributed the developments seen in all Saudi universities, and MU in particular, to the education budget, which reflects the concern of the government about education sector.
