As it is keen to strengthen its vital role in serving the university and the community, and developing a sense of responsibility among students towards contributing to the community development and dealing with its members’ problems, the College of Education in Zulfi organized a students’ visit to the Charitable Society for Orphans “Insan”, who were accompanied by the Director of Students Affairs Professor Mohsen Bin Sulaiman Aledeib, and the cultural and social activities Coordinator Professor Yazid bin Mousa Al-Mousa, where he was received by His Excellency the branch manager of the Insan Association in the Zulfi province Professor Suleiman Ali Alqhashaami, together with a number of association managers. The visitors were briefed on the objectives of the association and its projects, and how it provided its help to the needy families. The briefing was accompanied with a film on the association’s prominent activities, its main working committees, as well as its social and cultural programs for the Human Decade. The students received answers for their inquiries and got brochures introducing the association and its activities.
Thanks to this visit, the visiting students had the chance to see examples of social solidarity enjoyed by our country thanks to God. In the end of the visit, the Director of Students Affairs expressed on behalf of the University of Majmaah represented by the College of Education in Zulfi sincere thanks and appreciation to all employees of the association headed by the Association Director for their warm reception and for providing such a contact opportunity. His Excellency concluded the visit by expressing sincere thanks and wishing to repeat such a visit in order to strengthen the relationship between the university and the association.
