His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren launched on last Tuesday 27/6/1434H at the nobleness auditorium the chair of Sheikh Abdelmohsen Al-Tweyjri for applied research of stroke cases with the presence of the chief of Ports General Authority Eng. Abdel Aziz Bin Mohammad Al-Tweyjri and Mr. Ahmed Al-Tweyjri.
On this occasion, His Highness the Rector Dr. Khalid Al-Mogren extended his thanks to the Shekhi for this initiative and wished that this chair would achieve its intended goals. He also noted that this chair is one of the projects that the university strives to adopt in various fields which will have a great impact on supporting the field of research as well as opening up a number of opportunities for businessmen to invest in this field and serve their society.
The Deputy-Rector Dr. Mohammad Al-Shaya’a mentioned that this chair is concerned with cases related to strokes and intends to achieve a number of goals: excellence in research related to precaution, diagnose, treatment, rehabilitation for stroke cases, developing treatment technology to minimize the effects of stroke and attracting qualified experts to adopt successful experience in the field of strokes.
