MU RECTOR PARTICIPATES IN YOUTH COMMITTEE FORUM IN RIYADH

Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, MU rector, has participated in the forum of youth committee, organized by the emirate of Riyadh province under the title ‘ youth committee; tasks and responsibilities’.   

Governor of Riyadh province, Prince Faisal bin Bander bin Abdulaziz – chairman of youth committee – has launched the forum with opening speech where he emphasized that the primary aim of this forum is to bring out the potential of everyone in contributing to the development of this nation. Prince Faisal also commended the role played by youth committee who has always been at the forefront in a leading the nation in intellect. On the role of governors and female committee, Prince Faisal called upon them to support the youth committee. The 2nd session, titled “ Social work experience”, was chaired by MU rector, Dr. Al-Mugren. The first speaker was Mr. Bader Al-Asaker, general secretary of Misk foundation, who talked about the experience of king Salman center for youth and Misk foundation. The second speaker, Ms. Nouf Al-Rakan, a member of female committee for social development (FCSD), has shared the experience of FCSD in Riyadh. The last speaker was the general director of Al-Ghad organization, Mr. Riyad Al-Abdulkareem and he talked about the experience of Al-Ghad.
