MU CELEBRATES WORLD PHYSICAL THERAPY DAY IN COLLABORATION WITH KING KHALID HOSPITAL

The Physical Therapy Department at the College of Applied Medical Sciences held activities in collaboration with King Khalid Hospital on the occasion of World Physical Therapy Day. 
The activities which took place at Majmaah Mall was attended by  Dr. Majed Al-Amri, vice-rector for Training and Clinical Affairs, on behalf of the dean.
 
The participation of Therapy Dep. included four major sections: sports injury, risk of falls in the elderly, pain in lower back and foot problems. A number of faculty members were present to answer people’s inquiries. Visitors had medical checkup and got educational brochures.
 
Sheikh Abdullah Al-Twaijri’s Chair for applied research of stroke has taken part in the event with a pavilion where brochures and leaflets were distributed to visitors to promote them with stroke disease.
