THE CONTINUES MEDICAL EDUCATION UNIT AT DEANSHIP OF COMMUNITY SERVICE OBTAINS THE ACCREDITATION BY THE SAUDI COMMISSION FOR HEALTH SPECIALISTS

The deanship of community service and continues education at MU has strived to developed its programs and units. The deanship has established a unit for continues medical education which provides training programs to enhance the performance of health practitioners provided the program hours to be approved by the Saudi Commission for Specialists.

The deanship has successfully obtained the accreditation of the unit for five years. This accreditation is deemed as a successful achievement added up to the previous ones like the launch of international exam unit which grants Cambridge Certificate in IT. All these units are regarded as a primary resource to meet the needs of the society via offering training opportunities that will qualify them for the market.

The dean of community service and continues education and the general supervisor of the unit Dr. Omar Al-Sharufi noted that this unit is deemed as the first of its kind in the kingdom. It is worth noting that the consultative committee of the deanship includes several faculty members and specialists in the field of medicine, on top of them the deputy of medical college Dr. Khalid Al-Abdelwahhab, deputy-head of consultative committee of the unit.
