Majmaah University (MU) has achieved outstanding results in the e-Government Transformation Measurement Program. MU was ranked the first among Saudi universities and sixth among all public bodies (approximately 157) according to a report published by e-Government Program Yesser on 2018.
Prof. Musllam Al-Dosari, vice-rector and deputy of e-Government Committee, said that the progress made by the university with respect to delivery of e-Government services in the maturity level indicator was based on the seventh measurement supervised by the e-Government services (Yesser).
Over the past four months, the e-Government Services Committee at the university has checked and published all government services in the Government Services Observatory.
This achievement is a clear evidence of the university successful endeavors in transforming its government services to enhance the overall performance in line with the Kingdom vision 2030.
MU rector, Dr. Khalid Al-Mugren, director of e-Government Service Committee, extended his gratitude with this achievement which reflects the advanced level the university has reached in the field of information technology, e-services and infrastructure.
The university has encountered several obstacles such as technical infrastructure, recruiting competent faculty staff and the scattered buildings over a wide area. This however has not stopped the university to achieve further progress via utilizing the available financial resources in line with the outlined strategic plan.
Dr. Al-Mugren stressed the vital role played by the e-Government Services Committee and the Deanship of IT in following-up and implementing the instructions given by the e-Government Program (Yesser).
