20250804812The periodic committee of the General Administration of University Security held its regular meeting to review preparations for the 1447H academic year. The meeting began with the Director of University Security in Zulfi and Ghat presenting an assessment of the security situation, supported by observations and improvement proposals.
The field security and traffic departments also presented their readiness plans for the new academic year. The Director of Security in Hawtat Sudair and Remah highlighted the progress of preparation plans, including the completion of parking arrangements for the College of Nursing in collaboration with relevant university departments.
The director of Security in Majma’ah provided an update on the administration’s progress in completing all field and administrative preparations before the start of the academic year. The director of Traffic and Transportation concluded by outlining their readiness efforts, including preparing the security vehicle fleet and securing all field requirements to ensure smooth traffic flow at the beginning of the year.
During the meeting, the committee chair emphasized the importance of enforcing the Saudi national dress code at the start of the academic year and increasing security presence at building entrances to monitor and address any observations promptly. The committee concluded the meeting by directing coordination with colleges and the Dean of Student Affairs to introduce new students to the university security operations center’s contact number and services through orientation sessions.
