The Sustainable Standard Project Team Visits the University

As part of the university’s efforts to promote effective and sustainable volunteerism, Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, Vice Rector for Development and Investment, welcomed the “Sustainable Standard” project team, represented by Mr. Abdullah Al-Qarni, Ministry of Education representative for the project, Dr. Reem Al-Hussein, project founding consultant, and Mr. Mansour Al-Jabri, team member.

The visit aimed to review the university leadership’s efforts in supporting the adoption of the national Sustainable for volunteer work. The meeting also highlighted the importance of applying the standard to ensure the quality of volunteer initiatives and maximize their positive impact on the community. 

Prof. Al-Dosari expressed his strong interest in the project, stressing the vital role universities play in strengthening a culture of professional and sustainable volunteerism.

It is worth noting that the Sustainable Standard project is an initiative designed to establish clear foundations and criteria that guarantee the sustainability of volunteer initiatives and enhance their effectiveness in the long term.
