MU LAUNCHES ACTIVITIES OF ENVIRONMENT WEEK

Prof. Musallam Al-Dosari, the vice-rector, launched the activities of environment week and the associated exhibition which was held on Sunday by the General Administration of Occupational Health and Environment in the colleges complex foyer. 

Several government bodies and associations specialized in environment participated in the event such as the office of the Ministry of Environment, Water and Agriculture in Majmaah Governorate, King Khalid Hospital, Green Sudair Society, Friends of Environment Society in Zulfi, Al Barari Society for the Conservation of the Environment and Wildlife, Green Majmaah Association, Green Hermah Association and the National Vegetation Center.

The activities featured an awareness exhibition to promote the culture of environmental sustainability, preservation, and voluntary afforestation campaigns inside the university campus.

The event was wrapped up by honoring all government bodies in recognition of their contribution.
