Deanship of Scientific Research announces the funded research projects for the academic year 1432-1433 -

His Excellency, the Dean of Scientific Research Dr. Ibrahim Bbin Ali Allihidan announced that His Excellency, the University Rector has approved the recommendation of the Deanship Council to support 69 (54%) research projects out of 129 research projects submitted, at a  total cost amounted to about 1.9 million riyals.

A summary of the funded research projects of the three research centers is as below:

  • The Centre for Human Sciences and the Management supports 37 (58%) research projects out of the 64 research projects submitted, at a total cost of 712,000 riyals.

  • The Centre for Engineering and Applied Science supports 20 (605) research projects out of the 33 research projects submitted, at a total cost of 620,000 riyals.

  • The Centre for Health and Basic Sciences supports 12 (42%) research projects out of the 29 research projects submitted, at a total cost of 568,000 riyals.


Principal Authors will sign the contracts in the period between 17-21/ 4/1433. Details of funded research projects can be accessed at the Deanship Website. Furthermore, SMS messages will be forwarded to the Principal Author to notify acceptance of his search for support.
