The university director/ Dr. Khaled bin Saad Al-Muqrin sponsored a ceremony for honoring winners of the scientific research awards in the university which has been organized by Deanery of scientific research. The ceremony firstly started with an introduction by Mr. Majed vin Osman Aba-Hussain then His Majesty Dean of the scientific research Dr. Ibrahim bin Ali Al-Luhaydan delivered a speech in which he thanked the university rector for his interest in the ceremony, his permanent support to the deanship, paying attention to all its requirements and his following up of all its activities. Then he gave a perspective on the deanery and its objectives, priorities, stages of establishment, achievements, prospects and mechanism of activating research centers in faculties and supporting research projects through awards of research uniqueness that have been determined according to international standards. Also, he mentioned a number of achievements and activities of deanery, including formation of databases and organization of workshops and activation of the agreements and he also presented a representation for the deanery site. He then offered thanks to all people for their presentation and interactions. Afterwards, His Excellency the university rector praised the deanery of the scientific research and what it offers of work and effort represented in its His Majesty dean who pushed all people to interact with him as he is considered to be a model of success and distinction, considering the deanery as one of the work pillars within the university. This is because the university depends on the education, scientific research and serving the society. Additionally, the deanery achieved a wonderful work along few months and proved attracting progress. Also, he thanked the dean and his staff, reminding them that the university represents a complementary system depending on a number of values that have been put into practice. Therefore, thanks for God, the obstacles transformed into achievements by the will and endeavour of men, Hoping that may Allah bless all of them. After that, After that, Dr. Tarek Ismaail Amin announced names of winners of the award of research distinction that has been divided into two parts: award of distinct department and award of distinct research, including department of mechanical engineering in the engineering college whose rector is Dr. Ehab Abdel Aaty Al Hafez, the department coordinator, won the award of distinct department of scientific and application departments, department of civil engineering whose rector is Dr. Sameh Saad El Deen Ahmed won the second order, department of accounting in Humanities and Administrative Science College whose rector is Dr. Ibrahim Al Luhaydan won the award of distinct department of humanities and administrative departments, department of educational sciences in the education college of Al-Zulfi whose rector is Dr. Saleh Bin Abd Allah Al-Aqeel won the second order. Dr. Khaled As Sayyid Al-Helw, from the Maths department in the science college in Al-Zulfi, won the award of distinct research in the field of application sciences, Dr. Mohammed bin Osman Al Rukban, from the Medicine college, won the second order. After that, directors of research centers and the supporting authorities for the deanery of scientific research have been honored then there have been a memorial photos picked up for such occasion.
