The Deanship of Scientific Research conducted on Wednesday a virtual workshop entitled “strategies of refereed journal selection in education and humanities” for researchers and faculty members.
The presenter explained how to recognize Web of Science and Scopus journals in humanities, warning faculty members to avoid publishing in fake journals. Steps of knowing whether the research is sent to the right journal were also addressed.
The workshop is an indicative of the Deanship’s pursuit to focus on publication in the fields of education and humanities at the request of the dean, Dr. Thamer Al-Harbi.
