MU rector, Dr. Khalid al-Muqren, chaired the sixth meeting of the university council for the academic year 1441/1442 AH in the conference hall, in the presence of vice-rectors and deans as well as the general secretary of universities affairs council, Dr. Mohammed al-Saleh- who attended the meeting virtually.
The meeting was launched by a welcoming speech for the rector who congratulated the leadership of this country for being ranked 14th in the world, in terms of coronavirus-related research and has maintained the top ranking among Arab countries, in this regard.
Several topics in the agenda were addressed such as the approval to form a scientific board for two years, the approval to introduce a Master’s Degree in Science at the College of Science in Zulfi, the request of projects by the Deanship of Community Service, reinstatement of terminated students, recruiting some teaching assistants and the scientific research report 2020.
